As scientific research increasingly relies on computer-based experiments, ensuring reproducibility and managing detailed metadata has become more difficult. To help solve this, a new tool called SCHEMA lab has been developed by TIER2 partners from the Athena Research Center.

SCHEMA lab is an open-source virtual laboratory that empowers researchers to create, manage, and monitor containerised computational experiments with ease. It focuses on capturing rich metadata such as experiment configurations and performance metrics, to support computational reproducibility.
