Joeri Tijdink (VUmc) and Serge Horbach (Aarhus University) represented TIER2 and took part in the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO) 2023 Congress on Research Integrity Practice in Paris last week (06.09 - 08.09). 

They discussed TIER2 with researchers from other projects, held a symposium on funding reforms and innovating funding practices with transparency, and Joeri also presented on topics related to the importance of mental health in academia and how to become a happy academic.

The event saw discussions regarding the use of ALLEA ECoC (The European Code of Conduct for Research) which was revised this year and provides concise guidelines and best practices for upholding highest standards of research integrity. Other congress topics included the steps towards the establishment of a responsible European research culture, the role of supervisors of students and early career researchers in upholding research integrity, strengthening the trust in science, and much more (read about it on the ENRIO website).
