On 25 November 2024, the team from Athena Research Center working on TIER2’s Pilot 3 hosted an exclusive webinar to introduce HYPATIA lab – the first version of the open-source SCHEMA lab.
Designed to empower life and computer scientists, HYPATIA lab provides a user-friendly interface for managing computational tasks, workflows, and experiments, setting the stage for more reproducible and efficient research practices.
The session highlighted the lab’s key features, including:
-
Task Management: Tools for submitting, tracking, and managing computational tasks with real-time status updates.
-
Computational Experiments: Streamlined workflows for grouping tasks into experiments, accessing detailed information, and optimising execution.
Participants had the opportunity to explore the platform's functionalities, share feedback, and discuss how this tool can evolve to address their research needs. As the foundational version of SCHEMA lab, HYPATIA lab demonstrates TIER2’s commitment to integrating open-source capabilities that support diverse scientific domains.
Stay tuned for updates as we refine HYPATIA lab for its upcoming public release and full integration with SCHEMA lab.
