Highlights from the joint sister meeting in Edinburgh

14 August 2024

A month after the joint General Assembly in Athens, partners from the three sister projects – TIER2, OSIRIS and iRISE, met again in Edinburgh to discuss further the relevant ideas and solve issues related to reproducibility that came up during the assembly. The meeting aimed to pinpoint key challenges, outline essential issues and priorities, and identify clear next steps for the way forward.

The four-day meeting began with examining the similarities and differences between the three projects and generating ideas around the next steps, blue-sky challenges, and strategic priorities in the meta-science space.

During the next days, the focus was on integrating and exploring these ideas in greater detail, which allowed partners to see the big picture and strategise on implementing changes. To finish up on a high note, a field trip was organised, where everyone explored Scottish nature.
