16 June 2025

The new Georgian Reproducibility Network will host its kick-off meeting on 18 June 2025 at Tbilisi State Medical University. The RN launch is supported through TIER2’s RN Award, which aimed to facilitate the development of new Reproducibility Networks in Horizon Europe “Widening Participation” countries. Georgia was one of three countries, alongside Ukraine and Serbia, that was selected through the 2023 open call to strengthen a culture of openness, transparency, and research integrity.

To mark this milestone, the Georgian Reproducibility Network will host its kick-off meeting. The registrations for the event, which will take place in a hybrid format, are now open. It will feature sessions on reproducibility practices and the future of open science in the region, with a keynote session from TIER2’s coordinator, Tony Ross-Hellauer on collaborating for reproducibility

The Georgian Reproducibility Network aims to become a national hub for improving research quality and collaboration, contributing to a more robust and reproducible scientific landscape in Georgia.
