ENRIO 2025 Congress on Research Integrity Practice

17 February 2025

The upcoming ENRIO 2025 Congress, set to take place from 22 to 24 September 2025, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, encourages those interested in participating to submit abstracts online by 31 March 2025. Organised by the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO) in collaboration with the University of Ljubljana, this congress aims to build upon the foundation laid by previous biennial events that address crucial issues surrounding research integrity practice and the development of responsible research across Europe.

The Congress is aimed at all experts in research integrity and research ethics, RI officers and practitioners, members of ethics and investigation committees, representatives of research funding organisations and sponsors, and all interested and involved in the enhancement and sustainable implementation of good RI practices and policies.

The event will emphasise power dynamics within research and the institutional responsibility to cultivate an open, safe, and inclusive research environment. Such an environment is deemed essential for embedding research integrity into everyday practice. The congress will also engage with broader global issues, emphasising the importance of fairness, equity, and diversity as essential components of RI, as outlined in the Cape Town Statement of 2022. Participants will explore a range of challenges and share practical solutions aimed at prevention and raising awareness regarding research integrity issues.
