Call for Proposals: Year of Open Science Culminating Conference

17 January 2024

The Year of Open Science Culminating Conference, organised by the Center for Open Science in collaboration with NASA, is set to take place on 21 and 22 March. The event will highlight the achievements, coalition-building endeavours, and ongoing initiatives stemming from the 2023 Year of Open Science. Its primary objective is to bring together participating organisations, U.S. federal agencies, funders, international policymakers, universities, and research institutions for the purpose of exchanging knowledge and sharing recommendations to advance open science policies and practices.

This year’s conference theme – “Embracing the Future: Open Science in the U.S. Federal Context and Beyond” – is designed to showcase past, present, and future open science initiatives relevant to partners.

A call for proposals is currently open until 24 January here.

Submissions are encouraged to focus on infrastructure, tools, and technology; community-building; rewards and incentives; or policy. The submission types include sessions, lightning talks, and organisational stories.
