The 9th World Conference on Research Integrity (WCRI) will be held from May 3 to 6, 2026, in Vancouver, Canada. The еvent is open to all disciplines, all professional ranks, and all career stages, and involves all stakeholders in research integrity, including universities, research institutes, research funders, publishers, and governments. The call for session proposals is open until 14 April.
WCRI 2026 will focus on themes of critical importance, including indigenous ways of being, the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) with research practices, and research security. These topics will guide dynamic discussions on how to uphold ethical standards in a rapidly changing research landscape.
The conference has a long history of producing influential policy statements, such as the Singapore Statement, the Hong Kong Principles, and the Cape Town Statement, and it aims to continue this tradition with another impactful outcome. Diversity is central to the event, with a strong commitment to representation across ethnic, gender, geographical, and disciplinary lines. Early-career professionals will also be supported through a doctoral forum, workshops, and meet-the-expert sessions for them during the conference.
Participants can attend the conference either in person in Vancouver or remotely, ensuring global accessibility. Learn more about this event here.
