We like to invite you to join us for the upcoming FORRT Hackathon this November!
Date: Nov 15th 2024 - 3pm-5pm CET (Online event)
Duration: 2 hours
This event will focus on two exciting projects aimed at advancing open and reproducible science:
FORRT Glossary Project
This project aims to expand and translate an accessible glossary of open science terminology. We welcome contributions from diverse researchers to ensure a broad representation of perspectives. Additionally, we are working on translating the glossary to increase its global reach. Contributors will be acknowledged on the website and invited to co-author any resulting manuscripts.
FORRT Summaries in Open Science
This initiative aims to summarize key papers in open and reproducible science, helping educators and scholars stay informed and up-to-date. The summaries serve as a valuable resource for those with limited time or access, promoting educational equity.
What’s a hackathon, you might ask ?!
A hackathon is like an intense work sprint. We start by introducing the project, the tasks are announced, and you pick the one you’re most interested in. Don’t worry if it’s new—you’ll learn from everyone as you go. After that, it's an hour of working together, and then we wrap up by sharing progress. It’s like a productive group hangout where you actually get things done!
Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to the FORRT community!
